Place ground beef in a mixing bowl. Add bread crumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, onion, egg, salt and pepper into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients together.
Take a golf ball size of meat, flatten it and add sting cheese to the center. Roll into a ball. Repeat until there is no ground beef left.
Place meatballs into a baking dish. Pour pasta sauce over the meat. Shred remaining string cheese on top of the meatballs.
Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
