Khao Pad Recipe (Thai Fried Rice)

Through trail and error, I learned how to make a delicious khao pad recipe (Thai fried rice)! My khao pad recipe requires only three sauces: oyster sauce, thin soy sauce , and Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 1/4 cup minced carrots
  • 2 cups cooked Jasmine rice
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/4 tsp thin soy sauce or soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce or Maggi Seasoning Sauce
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Heat pan and add 1 tsp of cooking oil. Once the pan is heated, add the minced onions and carrots.

  2. Add the Jasmine Rice to the pan and mix it up with the carrots and onions. 

  3. Pour in the oyster sauce, soy sauce and seasoning sauce over the rice. 

  4. Move the rice to one side of the pan and crack an egg. Scramble the egg until cooked and mix with the rice. Cook for a few minutes and it's ready to eat!
